Sweet and Nice

Eddi is obviously voice-trained and sings instead of yelling and shouting. This is an album that is sure to be enjoyed by anyone over 50, and by anyone younger than 50 who would enjoy quiet ballads and other similar songs for a change.

Still melt at the sound of her voice!

I've loved this woman's voice for 20 years now ever since she was with Fairground Attraction back in the late 80s. What a gorgeous voice - and it's mellowed beautifully over time. I'm going to love chilling out to this album, a glass of wine, the lights dimmed.... how perfect!

I especially love her take on Fleetwood Mac's classic song "Never Going Back Again." Of all her cds, this one is my favorite.

Her choice proved fruitful as her book soon filled up and she landed work with the Eurythmics, the Waterboys, and Gang of Four. None seemed...
