Just say "Merry Christmas"

A relevant if sad commentary of a country founded by people seeking religious freedom who, against the odds, formed a government based on their firm belief in the one, true God and biblical truth, and at the same time guaranteed each individual the right to worship and believe as they chose. To have come from "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness..." to a society that allows God's name and His truth to be removed from public view and hearing, is not only sad but tragic. This is not freedom OF religion; this is freedom From religion.


This song is based on the recent decisions of major retailers banning employees from saying "Merry Christmas". It's showing how Christ is being taken out of Christmas by these stores we shop at. Jamie just trying to show what is really happening in the world today! So many stores have told the employees they can only say "Happy Holidays and tis the season" but NEVER Merry Christmas!This should shake us up but for the RIGHT reason! Put CHRIST back in Christmas! That's what it's all about! Way to go Jamie! You are a great singer and this is a great song!

Bad, just bad...

Just really a terrible song all the way around. Bad music, bad lyrics, and especially bad subject. Can we as Christians please just pick one thing that we aren't offended by? People are just trying to be kind to everyone, regardless of their faith, by saying "happy holidays". Its not an attack on God. If you live in the USA, no one can tell you not to celebrate Christmas, and THAT is a wonderful thing. This is not the case in many nations. Spend more time thanking God for that and less time being bitter about what the greeter told you at Wal-Mart on the way in...
