EDITORS’ NOTES

The heavy metal rocker-turned-worship leader finds his niche in uplifting pop. Jordan Feliz began his career in 2006 as a member of the rock band A Current Affair, but eventually traded the mosh pit for a position at a church in his central California hometown. In 2015, he moved to Nashville to pursue a solo career making inspirational pop music with a soulful spin and released his debut album, Beloved, which included a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” and Feliz’ first single “The River.” The success of “The River” inspired the title for his follow-up LP, where he returns with bigger production, catchy melodies and powerful pop-hooks that feel primed for radio.
