Customer Reviews

Great instrumental rock. Fantastic guitar tones - great playing and writing!

This was a revelation as I wasn't familiar with Jim Weider. I admit I bought the recording because of Rodney Holmes and Tony Levin. This guy has very good taste, and the tones on this album are unreal - a reference recording!. Cool tunes and and tasteful playing by all the involved. Great grooves. Very highly recommended for all Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson Fans...u know, all the great guitarist that play with taste and restraint.

Very nice fresh sounding album. This cd has been in my car for a few weeks now and I dont get tired of it.

My New Favorite Guitarist!

As a guitarist of 23 years, I've learned to appreciate more mature and seasoned players. Jim Weider is an incredible guitar player but more importantly... a song writer! He has inspired me to focus more on the feeling and groove of the song and not just technical prowlness. His compositions do not require a vocalist because he builds the melody into the groove of the song. Can't believe I haven't heard of him sooner in my playing years. What a treat it was finding Jim on iTunes! Highly recommended for those you like to chill-out and listen to good groovin' instrumental music!
