Simply Amazing

"Love and Terror" is simply amazing. I had long anticipated for its release and it has exceeded far and beyond anything that I could have imagined. The album is beautiful and humane. Each song holds and vibrates with sincere honesty and a sense of raw emotional urgency that is so real and natural within every person's psyche. The lyrics seem to whisper softly into the depths of the soul and mind, touching what is hidden then gently unveiling what lies beneath, expressing all that the heart thought it could not. “Hospital Bills” seems to be a song about a hopeless romantic who so desperately wants to right all that is wrong and feels it should be this way simply because he/she desires it so strongly and so it is the way it has to be. “Hard for Young Lovers” for me is my favorite because when I hear it, I can feel the song tingling every inch of me. It feels like a song about two people like two spheres wanting so badly to interconnect but somehow the world keeps standing between them and they call out to each other standing at tips of their hearts wondering if the other will hear them and if their voice will resonate. These songs are like the lullabies to every raw and honest emotion that we have felt with ourselves, someone else or during a time in our lives, singing to us that we are not alone and that it is okay to feel how and what we feel. I think this album is hopeful and beautiful, full of the earnest and true desire not to just live a life but to seek one a life where are contect and full because it is indeed possible.

Awesome Comeback!

Awesome album, I love it, The Cinematics are back. I cant wait until they come to Los Angeles! Wooo!!! "She talks to Trees", "All these things", "Moving to berling" awesome songs, album of the year, thank you, brohams.

A dark paperback novel of an album

The Cinematics are back with an epic follow-up to their debut ablbum a stange education. Sure this album is a lot darker then their pervious work, but this album is, in my opinion a big and blod leap for the four-piece from Scotland. After listening to this album a few times, i got the feeling that Scoot Rinning had channeled Edgar Allen Poe. This album to me seems to be like a paperback novel. it feels like the first couple of songs ie, All these things, She talks to trees, New Mexico and love and Terror, are about someone finding love and then as the album progresses it slowly shows the breakdown of the relationship in songs such as Hospital Bills , Lips taste like tears, Hard for young lovers etc. That being said, I belive that this is a great piece of work, and I think that the Cinematics are just getting started. Everyone should buy this album, once you hear the raw power of the Cinematics you will be hooked. This band has a way of gettting inside your heart and soul and never letting go.
