The Rizla Review

Im loving this album. These guys do some serius picking. American Roots

See this band live, they are terrific!

Anyone within driving distance of Kalamazoo, MI, should make an effort to see this band live in their hometown. Bells Brewery in Kalamazoo is " the venue " to see this extraordinary band jam in real life. If you have a chance to catch this group anywhere else take it! The soul of real bluegrass is alive and well, living under a greensky.

Real Grass!!!!!!

If you like bluegrass, I mean real 100% bluegrass, you will love Greensky. They are absolutely fantastic and have me sold as the # 1 band in their genre. No joke. The new album 8/08 "Five Interstates" has them progressing further lyrically yet sticking and not deviating from their musical roots. That album has not left my rotation in over a month. Do yourself a favor and get "Less Than Supper" or any of their releases, or catch them live (they seem to get around the country alot). I would be mighty surprised if you are not hooked line and sinker in a week. There is a reason they won Telluride, believe me.
