RIP Oscar-You Will Be Missed

Buy this album for no other reason than track 6 (Every Time We Say Goodbye). It was said that Bill Evans' version of any tune seemed to be the definitive version, and this is true of this track by Oscar. Here he holds his formidable technique at bay and explores the melancholy of the tune with harmonies that will bring tears to your eyes. RIP Oscar-you will be missed.

Oscar Peterson Plays Cole Porter

The album itself is great, on thing I would suggest is when downloaded into I tunes it puts the Ed Thigpen files into a seprate area and the Oscar Perterson in another so you can't play the whole ablum completly, very frustrating.
