iTunes Review

Katatonia’s otherworldly gift for gloomy atmosphere is clear on Night is the New Day, as the moody Swedish band employs dramatic string arrangements (“Idle Blood”), airy synth undercurrents (“Liberation”), and heavy metal that segues from sinister, overdriven guitar into sparkling, expansive breakdowns (“Day and Then the Shade”).

Rep this band!

I only recently found this band. Its normally not my genre of music, but these guys have already grown into one of my favorite bands. Their music is dark and deep; theres nothing like it out today. These guys are good, so represent. The masses need to hear this!
