26 Songs, 1 Hour 47 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

The premise of Bob Seger’s music is simple: passionate, no-frills rock about regular people with little to lose. What’s amazing is how much mileage he got out of it, and how broad an emotional range. Focusing on the golden years between 1976 and 1986—during which Seger vaulted from local hero to national star—Ultimate Hits is an impeccable introduction to his music, from the ripping nostalgia of “Old Time Rock and Roll” and “Rock and Roll Never Forgets” to the misty reflections of “Turn the Page” and “Night Moves.” These are songs that defined their era, then and now.

Remaster BY a Master

If you don't love these tunes as you did the originals you must be so anal that you likely have no friends. If you've ever been to one of his concerts, you would know that he is second to none at reproducing his studios quality sound. If there is any changes at all it was done to enhance by the master himself. So do not miss out on this great deal and in some cases enhanced beauty. Truly remarkable in my experiences, I could not believe he could improve on some of my favorite songs!

“Still the same”

I remember and I recall loving The Artist as man of the business as a child and more so today as a gentleman in many eyes and a “chosen son” in others where I have more than a few brothers and sisters as well.

This entire album will always have a special place in my heart.

What’s NOT to love, Seger is an all time favorite

Sometimes when I am driving my car (A Beautiful Black GEN 5 Camaro) it’ll hit me, I want to crank up some good old Bob Seger music, so I plug in my iPhone to the car stereo and crank it up, I love music but a lot of music anymore just isn’t my bag, it’s pretty much like his song Old Time Rock and Roll, music just doesn’t have as much substance anymore, or it isn’t as soulful as Seger’s Music, I woke up early this morning and an episode of Supernatural was on tv and the song playing was Rock and Roll Never Forgets and it was a song I didn’t have on my phone, but I wanted to hear it so I downloaded it and the entire double album of 25 other favorite Seger classics, so I’m sitting here listening to the music and thinking back and man it’s almost like my life has been one long series of Bob Seger Songs, I mean really it has and still is, from my teen years to my 20’s while serving in the Army, to meeting and marrying my wife of 27 years, it’s all like Segers music...

I guess that’s why I’ve always loved Bob Seger music is because I can identify with a lot of his lyrics as I’m sure a lot of other people can too, anyway you can’t go wrong with this album, it’s 26 great Seger songs for $12.99 which is less then half of what most music costs on iTunes, so if your a die hard Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band Fan then this is a must have addition to your digital music collection
