every theater person needs this

if you like theater this is the show for you. you cant help but listen to the songs and think wow thats so true. one of the most entertaining catchy real soundtracks i have ever listen to. there is language but if you dont mind that your in for weeks if having this stuck in your head.

Loved Die Vampire Die!

Saw this musical theater offering just recently and enjoyed it very much. I was particularly struck by the number "Die, Vampire, Die!" If you've ever felt put down for your creative efforts, your appearance (despite what you were born with and making an effort), unfairly unappreciated, and feeling personal insecurity regarding your own talents and efforts, this is the song for you. This will give you a lift and encouragement to not let the real vampires in our lives (the soul-suckers, the doubters, the nasty-hatefuls, the prejudiced, the oh-so-superiors) get the best of you. It was very meaningful to me. Yes, there is "language", but not horrible.... just honest.

Dancing sparkly dances...

This cast recording is amazing! Not only do Hunter, Jeff, Heidi, and Susan have fantastic voices and talent but there is so much humour and light-heartedness in this recording. There are lots of references to catch if you're a theatre fan and it's overall so enjoyable. Such a pleasure to listen to. My personal favourites are: "What Kind of Girl is She?" "Die, Vampire, Die!" "Nine People's Favourite Thing" "I am Playing Me" and "September Song". But truth be told, they're all wonderful.
