An American Classic...

An American classic, written by one of the champions of minimalistic music.

If you can't decide between albums...

This album is worth it for the booklet alone. The booklet contains recent essays on the opera by Adams and Sellars, and reproduces liner notes from Goodman and Steinberg. In addition to the essays and the notes, the libretto is also included.
