Great songs, great voice

Saw this guy perform in LA a couple years ago and waiting for a CD ever since. Intensely passionate music, the opposite of bubblegum. If you're wanting to dip a toe, maybe buy and listen to "Reminds Me of You," "Some Things Just Aren't Meant to Be," or "Survive a Little Lonely."

No Apologies

The songs on this CD are lyrically gifted and speak musically with each listen to reveal several layers of subtle complexity.
It calls you back for another listen, and then another, until you find yourself humming the memorable hooks.
I like the cover of Greg Kihn's "The Breakup Song", with it's unique haunting sound.
"Kiss You Now" is a song that every girl/woman would want to feel was written about her.
This CD is a breath of fresh air by a gifted talent, and I hope to hear more of his work in the future.

Finally something different for real music lovers!

Raw talent has been scarce over the past few years, and something like this has been a long time coming. This brand of music usually sounds like just one long song if you play the whole disc from beginning to end, but surprisingly, this one sounds like ten different songs. Lyrics are brilliant and easy to understand and relate to. Very female marketable. The production is great on most of them. Subtle, but definitely different. The melodies are catchy without being overwhelming, proving that sometimes less is quite often more. This is the sound that John Mayer was probably looking for. There's no credits, so don't know if the artist wrote them, besides the one cover song. Hoping this won't be the last. Somebody should promote this guy. The right label or promoter could take him far. Does anybody know anything else about him? I looked around some music stores in L.A. and can't find a hard copy of the disc to take in to work with me. He really needs a good rep! "No Apologies" and "Kiss You Now" are hits waiting to happen with females 13 to 35, and there's television and movies that are in desperate need of songs like the others. As a usually merciless critic, I have to admit that I can't wait to see what else this guy has to offer!
