moe. are on top of their game currently.

Best one since the last one!

There's no doubt that moe. is a live band. Road warriors for over 20 years, but the fact is, they craft some great rock songs in the studio and this album is a strong effort. If you don't know the signature moe. style look no further than Billy Goat on this album. Rob Derhak shines here with clear vocals that tell a story of a "stubborn old soul" while a slap happy bass line leads you to an anthemic chorus that celebrates the value of living life to the fullest. Same Old Story is another standout with the vibraphone of Jim Loughlin really adding layers of sonic texture that you don't find anywhere else. Bonus track Runaway Overlude is a personal favorite that's been road tested and fan approved for a while now blending a civil war tale of a coward soldier and his vindictive superior officer that ends with a heavy metal chant of "the blood, the bayonets, the gore, the death, the cannonballs!" Overall another great album!

No Guts, No Glory

This is probably the best Rob’s vocals have sounded on any moe. record. It’s a no brainer and a huge success. Good stuff.

Founded in 1990 by bassist/vocalist Rob Derhak, guitarist/vocalist Chuck Garvey, and original drummer Ray Schwartz, the band toured the university's party circuit under...
