iTunes Review

Sounding like an Eastern-European gypsy caravan careening wildly through the Deep South, the third release by these rockabilly wild men takes all the unhinged energy of their previous albums and spins off in several directions at once. Beginning with the demonic scream of the opening “Ichabod,” the tight, sinister-sounding band speeds through wild and woozy waltzes (“Iron Lung Oompah,” “Nellie Bell”), twisted country (“Bottom Road”), and high-octane blues (“Somethin’ In the Water”) with reckless glee. Songs like “Monkey On the Doghouse” are equally hilarious and unnerving, coming off like a delightfully demented circus act that got mired in a swamp somewhere and just decided to hunker down and play for their lives. Pandelirium is a fast and furious ride that never lets up.

They keep gettin' better

Each album experiments more and more. Klezmer, Oompah, Punk, and Roots music...together at last. This album is great, check out all the other ones too. J.D. and the Gang know how to rock.

Rock N' Roll Oompah!!

I dig these cats for being original. Each song here is a gem in its own right. From Ichabod's rip-roaring speed and style to Nellie Bell's Demonic polka, it's a good time!

Wonderful new find, I'm hooked for now. 4 out of five because I've yet to experience much. Coming in as a Reverend Horton Heat fan I'm excited about these guys and will be getting more from them.

A roots rock juggernaut from Nashville, Tennessee, the Legendary Shack Shakers are a hot-rodded foursome combining blues, rockabilly, country, and rock & roll into one manic assemblage boasting all the gloriously explosive instability of an M-80. Originally comprised of Colonel J.D. Wilkes on lead vocals and harmonica, Joe Buck on guitar, Mark "The Duke" Robertson on upright bass, and Pauly Simmonz behind the drums, the Legendary Shack Shakers were all members of various renegade country acts playing...
