Best Since the First CD

I have been a big fan of Mcguffey Lane a long time. Its always going to be tough to beat that first album. Having said that, "10" ccomes awefully close. Several tracks on the CD could be hits. "I Am What I Am", "Bartender" and "Song for the Road" all have that McGuffey Lane feel to them. I think that getting the original bass player back in the band for this album made all the difference in the world vocally.

"10"

Wow...you have to give "10" a listen from start to finish. "I am who I am", "Bartender" and "Givin' in to Gettin Old" have overtones of McGuffey Lane in the early days. "It's A Good Day" just flat out rocks. The newer members of McGuffey Lane (Molly Pauken, Jerry Cummings, Randy Huff and Kevin Reed) show off their talents while the original cast (John Schwab, Terry Efaw and Steven George Reis) keep them in check. If you liked the old stuff - you'll LOVE "10".
