Great Music with Fascinating HIstory

All of these songs have fascinating histories to them and Paul Robeson's performances of them does them justice. My interest in them stems more from the history than Robeson, but he certainly knows how to perform them in an appropriate way given what they mean. All very fantastic, truly.

robeson remembered

My 78s of many of these songs seemed at least as good as these "remasterings". Where are the audio geniuses when we need them? These songs are in my mind since childhood. Who can forget the resonance of Mr. Robeson? Let's remaster this again.
