Chris and Lorin Rowan (both guitar, vocals) began working together as a duo in San Francisco, California, USA, during the early 70s. They were helped by Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia who occasionally played with them live. Their CBS Records debut was a pleasant, if uninspired, collection. In 1975 the Rowans re-emerged as a trio with the addition of elder brother Peter Rowan (b. 4 July 1942, Boston, Massachusetts, USA), formerly of Earth Opera and Seatrain and a respected bluegrass musician....
