WOW!

This is a great album! It is so unique in the variety of songs, but yet they seem to fit together perfectly. I highly recommend that you add these songs to your collection!

whoa.

I don't like all of the songs on this album as much as I like the songs on Gee Baby, but I think "So It Is" is one the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. It made me cry, and I'm a dude. This album is definitely a departure in terms of it being much more pop music than folk.

Before she was a singer/songwriter, Coles Whalen fronted a band in Los Angeles for two and a half years prior to going solo. She released an EP of solo work, purchased a truck and a camper, and began playing venues and selling her EP throughout the western United States. After selling over 2,000 copies of her work, Whalen decided that it was time to record new material. The result was her first album, Gee Baby, which was released in 2005.
