Cory Morrow Grows Up

If you're expecting the rowdy, partying, beer-swilling themes common in Cory's earlier albums, you're not going to find them here. He's grown quite a bit these last couple of years, artistically, professionally, and personally. This maturation is reflected in the majority of the songs compiled on this album. It is refreshing to see a partying frat-boy type singer/songwriter grow into a wiser, more introspective musical artist with the ability to make us empathize with his trials and tribulations. "I Couldn't Be There," "Choices," and "Carnival Ride," take the listener to the low spots Cory has experienced during the last few years. The album is not all dark and brooding, though. "Good Intentions" is a lighthearted look at the wrong turns one can take in life. I recenty saw him in concert, (10/28/06) he looked well, sounded great and I hope will stay true to himself and his talent. Cory Morrow's been around awile and to the Texas music scene, he is certainly not a flash in the pan. Give this album a try if you are looking for something a bit more mature than the typical college-age collection of songs.

Try Something else

Not a bad CD at all but if youre interested and even if youre not, check out his older CD's First.

Pretty sweet

No real billboard busters but consistent enjoyable listening
