iTunes Review

Fans of Rascal Flatts will find an abundance of high points on Nothing Like This. Lead singer Gary LeVox ‘s warm middle range and keening highs have rarely sounded better, with band mates Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney maintaining luminous harmony support. Upbeat, romantically inclined tracks like “Why Wait,” “All Night to Get There” and “Tonight Tonight” glide upon sleek rhythms that recall the golden days of the Eagles and Poco. Especially good is “Red Camaro,” a track celebrating fast cars and sweet memories kicking off with a riff right out of “Louie, Louie.” “They Try” finds the trio dipping its toes in a warm Memphis-style soul groove. The band doesn’t neglect its slower side either, with “Easy” (a duet between LeVox and pop singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield) and the title tune reaffirming their way with an aching ballad. Nothing Like This closes with “I Won’t Let You Go,” a moving statement of friendship in troubled times. All told, Rascal Flatts sound on top of their game on this assured and well-rounded release.

Glad to see Rascal Flatts back

Rascal Flatts is back and better than ever! It's good to see their time off didn't affect their music.
My favorite so far is “Nothing Like This” and “Easy” with Natasha Bedingfield. A new artist I like is Tyler Barham. His song “17 & Young” is a great!

Buy this album!!!!!

Rascal Flatts just keeps getting better. The songs are up-beat, fun, and a little different. But they still have that same signature sound that's present in their other albums. If you don't want to buy the whole album I would recommend "Tonight Tonight" or "Red Camaro". But if you don't want to buy the whole album then you are crazy.

A country trio known primarily for its pleasing harmonies and Grammy-winning songcraft, Rascal Flatts comprised Gary LeVox, Jay Demarcus, and Joe Don Rooney.
