Unique sound! Awesome lyrics!! Truly an awesome cd!!! 5 star buy

One of the Best Albums of 2006! My New Favorite Band!

Hyper Static Union is one of the most amazing new bands ever! You’ll rock out, yet be encouraged by amazing lyrics, great music, and a spectacular voice. Hyper Static Union has a unique style that makes them stand out among the rest. Here's what to expect song-by-song: 1. “Lifegiver” talks about God's provision. It's edgy with amazing guitars and vocals. 2. "Overhead" talks about someone who wants more in life but doesn't want to seek God. It also has an edgy sound like "Lifegiver." 3. It's obvious why "Praying for Sunny Days" is HSU's biggest hit. It's really got the funkyness going and has a great message about having a positive attitude during trials. I love Shawn Lewis's falsetto and harmonies. The guitars are great too. This song has been #1 on my Top 25 Most Played List for months. 4. "Chariot" is a good, slower song about God's return with "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" as the bridge. 5. "Right Where You Want Me" is the hardest song on the album. Listen to Shawn Lewis's amazing almost-"American Idol" vocals at the end of the song. 6. "Can't Leave It Alone" is so funky and fun to sing along with. 7. “Free Me” is a beautifully written, mellow song that talks about the freedom God gives to us when we ask Him to rule our lives. It seems like it doesn't fit in the album because it doesn't really have a rock sound at all. It almost sounds like a 4Him song, but it's still really good for those who are into pop stuff. 8. "Child of His Grace" is a really nice, medium-paced song about how God saves us even though we don't deserve it. 9. "Good Fight" is another major-funky song (probably the funkiest in the album). 10. "Now That It's Over" is worth how much you pay for it ;) I won't say much about this one--you'll just have to find out why! Enjoy!

Highly Recommended!

Lifegiver and Good Fight are amazing! The flow of the songs, along with the great guitars and lyrics, are fantastic. What makes them great, though, is their love for God through the music. Can't Leave it Alone and Chariot are also good.
