For all the hoopla this album received in death metal circles, it transcends expectations. For starters this is about as heavy as death metal gets without sounding like garbage. It's sporadic, interstellar chaos. It sounds like an alien strangling a pig as they are sucked through a wormhole. This is an absolute breakthrough death metal concept with a story as intricate as its song structures. The only thing better than listening to this album full blast is showing it to someone for the first time and seeing their expression. Buy it. -Lee
