At first, i hated rap and didn't give it a chance. Soon, I did. And I still loved LP! Numb / Encore was my favorite song for several months and then I bought the album. Numb / Encore is still the best, but Dirt Off Your Shoulder / Lying from You was almost just as good. That song has the best Jay-Z song in it. Behind it is Points of Authority / 99 Problems / One Step Closer. Mixing one of Jay-Z's best songs and two of LP's best songs makes a pretty damn good song. Big Pimpin' / Papercut didn't really sound like LP, but its still a great song. Jigga What / Faint has a great fast flow to it. Izzo / In the End is the only song that's not so great. Too much of Izzo. Not enough In the End. Overall: 10/10 cause it's got the best rock/rap band and one of the best rappers in one little mushpot.

worth it

even though there aren't that many's still worth it. it's not about quantity but quality instead. and lp and jay-z delivers. period.

thats tight stuff

When you take one of the greatest rappers of all tim and mix him with the great hip hop/ hardcore band of LP and you get collision course. the album is incredible with the two bands trading lines at times. the beats are skillfully mashed. this album rocks especially the 99 problems police part where the lead singer of LP plays the cop

In the wake of his 1996 debut, Reasonable Doubt, Jay-Z's albums sold millions upon millions with each release, and his endless parade of hits made him omnipresent on urban radio and video television. He retained a strongly devoted fan base and challenged whatever...
