iTunes Review

Don’t let the title track fool you; this album is much more than a celebration of the tiny white whale. Also honored in song are biscuits, beans, and barley, all in Raffi’s retro folksinger style. Traditional tracks like “Kumbaya,” “This Old Man,” and “Day O’” are reinterpreted here with ukulele, harmonica, and a chorus of kids. Baby Beluga runs the gamut from the well-mannered “Thanks a Lot” to the crazy sound effects of “Joshua Giraffe,” with plenty of “oh yeahs” thrown in to keep things interesting.

a classic

all 3 of my kids have loved this album. It manages to be sweet and engaging to them while not getting on parents' last nerve when they hear it for the 1000th time.

Baby Beluga

Every little kid should enjoy Baby Beluga, it's sweet, very melodic, just a fun song. Raffi has a beautiful, clear voice, easy for little ones and adults to understand the lyrics. Besides, who doesn't like a baby beluga?

One of the best children's albums ever made

Great music for children and adults alike. Joshua Giraffe is a stand-out track, and as another reviewer mentioned, the songs don't become grating for adults after the inevitable repeat listens.
