Just a note

This album is great for sleeping to, or for really long drives, or for beating your brains against a wall at random times. Most of my friends who are BTBAM fans dislike this album in comparison to Colors and Alaska, but that is because they don't appreciate real music. I have two years of college level music theory under my belt, and if I don't have to think twice about what's going on inside the album I'm listening to, I get bored with it very quickly! This album keeps me confused/guessing at every single corner it turns, and that's why I love it! Plus it is relaxing/soothing to listen to, even at its heavy moments. Depending on which mood I'm in at the time, I'd easily say The Great Misdirect is their best album. The other mood says, "Nahhh, Colors is the best." There has never been a mood that says Alaska is the best, though it is still good.

Also, the whole purpose of this post was to be able to say that the release date was 2009, not 2011.

BTBAM Never Fails

They just keep getting better and better with time. Not sure why it says the release date is 09/30/11 cuz that is DEF not the release date.

Not too sure why these guys have to be so good!!

Rogers and Waggoner completed their new lineup with the addition of guitarist Nick Fletcher, bassist Jason King (ex-Azazel), and drummer Mark Castillo, formerly of Bury Your Dead. An eponymous debut soon appeared, issued through the German indie Lifeforce, and the...
