Quite Impressive

Having been a fan of Rachel Stamp for a few years, I've never officially owned one of their CDs. I would consistantly search on ITunes for any sort of Stamp song, but alas, it never came through. Bored, browsing for a new batch of songs to listen to in a zombie-like state in my ignorance-infested study hall, I decided to type "Rachel Stamp" with disbelief when coming upon a *gasp* result. Anywho, to critique the CD. I find that in these reviews, I'd rather hear about the experience the listener will endure while infecting their ears with louder and louder volumes as they deafen themselves with fantastic music. (I often ignore the, "OMFG These guys are SOO hawt.!! Totally good CD! Bettar than thier lastttt!!1") A list will suffice. -Flow: Each song seems to blend nicely into a head-nodding stream of enjoyability. -Instrumental: Interesting, intriguing use of guitar, drums, and a bit of piano here and there. Nothing too extremely surprising. But, decent. -Lyrics: Not deep in politics or shock rock-like terms, but far better than any typicalities of "lost love" and "painful break-ups". Very poetic and sexual, unique. -Notable Songs: "Black Cherry" [have heard before] is always enjoyable because of its incredibly sexual energy and "rockin" sort of quality. "Heroine" is beautifully quite and depressing. It's too hard to choose. The entirety of the CD is worthwhile. I hope you make the smart choice! ;]
