The incredible Sam Brown

I have so much respect for Sam Brown. Such an incredible voice from such a beautiful soul. At times I feel she holds back because she's fearful of what might happen if she lets it all go, but that restraint in itself is a source of power that holds me. I can't think of another female "artist" that I would like to listen to more in this day and age. I pray her much happiness and success (on her terms). I'm a faithful and appreciative listener who thinks she's terrific for keeping it honest, meaningful, surprising, intriguing, and great!

Refreshing

Sam Brown's voice makes just about anything she puts herself into captivating. Her delivery is real and comes so naturally. Great songwriting and I'm swallowed by the mood of the music overall.

Finally!

Thanks for posting this album! We saw her in England at the Crooked Bullet. First time I'd heard of her and I loved it. Away with the Faeries was my absolute favourite song, watching her play and sing a haunting little ballad...but I couldn't find it!! Thank you!!!! :-) As always, my husband has fabulous taste in music! Good for her for going her own way, instead of being pressured by the music industry.

Brown, however, has failed to match the album's success with her subsequent releases April Moon, 43 Minutes, The Kissing Game, and Box. The daughter of classical vocalist Vicki Brown, Brown began her musical career at the age...
