first demo

this is's original demo which he sold on the streets of boston in 1992. while the material is extremely raw and sonically lowfi (it was recorded on 4 track cassette), it showcases the beginning of the hiphop blues. this record includes the original versions of and special sauce classics like "baby's got sauce", "shooting hoops", "leaving the city"and others. people can hate on it-- its definately not produced or pop or anything but one kid playing his guitar and harmonica. the energy is sick and its recorded before he met the special sauce. take it or leave it it is truely original and performed live

Nice Work iTunes

This album used to be next to impossible to find, but now thanks to iTunes anyone can enjoy it. I found it a few years ago at a small record store after G. Love had played in town. I'm not sure how the owner got his hands on a copy, but I'm glad he did. If you are a G. Love fan you must have this album; this is where it all begain. I read an interview once where G. Love talked about selling his first album on the streets and after gigs, and that first album was "Oh Yeah." Enjoy the tunes!
