EDITORS’ NOTES

On his Hindi soundtrack to OK Jaanu, A. R. Rahman swirls together musical elements both classical and current for this version of the Tamil soundtrack to OK Kanmani. The airy “Jee Lein” is infused with carefree abandon, while “Saajan Aayo Re” leans towards emotive, classical ragas and traditional vocals. The nostalgia-inducing remix of Rahman’s 1998 original “Humma Humma” may have grabbed the most attention—but you might find yourself coming back again and again to "Kaara Fankaara", with its deliciously obsessed lyrics and a star-studded rap chorus.

AR Rocks!

All songs are amazing, Jee Lein, title song, Kaara, Saajan. The tamil is better because its the original, but this one is equally good as the tamil for bolly. Title in tamil is best though!

The Tamil version is better

I like the tamil version better may be because I heard that first but in the Hindi version the music does not flw with the lyrics. It seems like the lyrics are forced with the music and melody. Songs are there ulaa ( jee lein) and mental manadhil ( ok jaanu) are better in Tamil. I dont even understand Tamil and I prefer to listen to the tamil version
