Allman Blues Rock!

The Boys are in "FINE" form on this album.... What you see is what you get!!!!! Appropriate name for the album from "The Boys from Macon Georgia" If you like The Allman Brothers Band this album delivers the goods....... JUST BUY IT! :-)

Old Friends With New Hits - WHAT??????

I love the ABB, But who comes out with a headline of "Old Friends With New Hits" ?This album came out in '03! Just another example of the amount of respect that itunes has for its customers. Look folks, if you want a musical website that cares for its customers and you want ABB content, goto the Allman Brothers site. By the way, "Hittin' The Note" is a very fine album with great musicianship by a great blues band!

Stuck In Your Head...

You will be carrying these great cuts with you all day, or all week. Great hooks, with even better music. Some really amazing lyrics on 'Old Before My Time', High Cost of Low Living' and Desdemona. This is crazy to say with all their album success, but this is my favorite album song for song. It has hard blues, slow blues, hard rock, and great musicianship throughout!

For the first half of the '70s, the Allman Brothers Band was the most influential rock group in America, redefining rock music and its boundaries....
