Love these guys!

Just saw them in concert on July 3rd. They were taping the first live DVD. I'll be the first in line to buy it when it comes out. Until then, these CD's are excellent for kids of all ages. I even listen sometimes when the kids aren't around.

Kids ask for it by name!

Excellent production, unexpected rhythms and beautifully layered arrangements elevate traditional children’s folk songs (and a few new tunes) in the Biscuit’s latest album, proving again why they’re a favorite among Austin’s hip, musically-savvy parents. The skit-like song intros may be a bit jarring for those who’ve never seen the television show, but don't let that stop you from enjoying these gems – just lobby your PBS station to pick up the Biscuit Brothers!

The world needs more scarecrow irony

The Brothers are back in this fun, clever, feet-tapping follow-up to their debut album. For fans of the show who already know and love the EIEIO gang, Old McDonald’s EIEI Radio is a familiar collection of favorite episode and live performance tunes. If you don’t already know the Biscuit Brothers (and their band, Gravy) treat yourself to this family-friendly album that keeps the kids singing while the parents are entertained with smart material reminiscent of The Muppet Show genius. Our personal favorites include Chickens Playing Bongos (one of the funniest, catchiest songs ever written), P.B. & J. (just try to get the melody out of your head after the song is over – it won’t happen), and Share This Song (proving kids’ music can be sweet without being sappy). The Biscuit Brothers are truly one of the great treasures of family entertainment, and their mix of intelligent comedy and wide range of musical talents is the perfect way to introduce your kids to music education and the arts. Go Make Music!
