Album Review

The debut album by Canadian new wave-influenced indie rockers Metric was released in 2003. Over the years, thanks to the band's successful touring and subsequent releases (all of which have been well received), the album went gold in the band's home country. A solid debut, the album features fan favorites such as "Hustle Rose" and "The List." For fans of later Metric work, such as the stellar Fantasies, this makes for necessary listening.

Accidental Find=New Amazing Group

I just happened to stumble on Metric while I was surfing iTunes, and I'm so glad I did. This group is fantastic. I love their sound and the eclectic vibe that I get. There's a good mixture of up-beat, dance songs and the occasional slower-paced songs to make this album great. I have found another group to add to my collection of music!!!

This albums defines what Metric is. This is the album that launched them and its awesome! Hustle Rose is my favorite song along with the more upbeat songs like Dead Disco and Combat Baby!
