Disappointing

On one hand this album has a couple of the best SA songs (Dazed, Pink Snot) and have a cool new sound to them, plus maybe 2 other decent tracks. But the rest sounds like it was phoned in, which is so unlike a band that always put so much heart into their releases. The songs are barely 2 min long and sound half finished, played mostly acoustic and sounding even more stripped down than a Painful Splits album. The lyrics are more awkward than ever. Some songs don't even feel like songs, more like Max singing weird stuff in meandering melodies like he's testing out a demo. I'm also disappointed that this was announced to be some sort of continuation of IARB but I see no connection in any of the music or lyrics. Sorry but it really sounds more like the leftovers of a Painful Splits session than a new SA album.

Maybe the best last record ever (only for now I hope)

This record is amazing and heartbreaking. The most intense writing since Is A Real Boy. This is a beautiful and wonderful swan song but the selfish me hopes for another in the future. Thank you Max.
