Pianovision rocks

These all-original solo piano performances cross the borders of jazz, folk, classical and world music and show Sandra as a world-class composer and player. Sounding like a fusion of Art Tatum and Vince Guaraldi (of the Charlie Brown "Peanuts" records and film soundtracks), Sandra's compositions are at once commercial and classic, with very catchy phrases that paint travelogue pictures. If only Keith Jarrett and Chick Corea could compose like her! The dynamic control and excitement of her left hand work makes these tunes percolate with rythm and color. Very well produced and recorded also. Let's hope there is more to come from Sandra Tsing Loh's piano artistry. Brava!!
