Best Album of the 90s

Dylan is talented and these songs are perfect. Love 1 Headlight, 3 Marlenas, Angel on my Bike, 6 avenue heartache. Brilliant lyrics.

Modern American Classic

As others have noted, this album should have way more reviews than this. BDTH is one of the best moments of mid-90s roots rock and it still sounds fantastic today. Jakob Dylan wrote a great batch of songs and the production by T-Bone Burnett (as well as Matt Chamberlain's powerful drumming) suits them perfectly. This music is the perfect blend between gritty and rootsy, modern and vintage, well-produced and rich but also organic. The Wallflowers' next album, Breach, is also full of great songs but its sound is nothing like this glorious explosion of guitars and Hammond organ and pumping bass an living, breathing ambience. This is one of those albums that has aged superbly well, worth revisiting or discovering for the first time.

Best album ever

Invisible City is the most perfect lullaby. I have to say Angel On My Bike is my favorite song, and has been in dreams of mine multiple times.
