Dropping it like it's BLAZING HOT!!!!!!

I think this is the Michael Sweet record that we have always dreamed and anticipated for... Extra meaty...super chunky... and just flat out hot!!!!! ONE SIDED WAR sees Michael connecting up with Rat Pak Records and the dream team of John O'Boyle on bass, Will Hunt from Evanesence on drums, Boston shred master Ethan Bosch, and special guest Joel Hoekstra from Night Ranger and Whitesnake. The momentum started back a few years ago when Stryper released No More Hell To Pay that and Michael released his solo album I'm Not Your Suicide, then came the power duet with George Lynch with Sweet & Lynch and then the most recent Stryper album Fallen....momentum has been on Michael's side from a production and musician standpoint, it shows through big time on this new album One Sided War... To me it's got a little bit of an edge similar to Against The Law... Just when you thought it couldn't get any better… Michael delivers!

Wow!!!! Michael is on top of his game!! Another great album from my favorite singer and guitarist!!! This is a must have for all fans of good hard rock and metal!!!! Impressed beyond words!!!

Awesome and heavy

From the previews and the released song bizarre this album is awesome and really rocks!

About Michael Sweet

A hard working vocalist/guitarist best known as the co-founder, lead guitar player, and frontman for Christian metal pioneers Stryper, Michael Sweet, along with his brother, drummer Robert Sweet, helped to bring Christian Rock into the mainstream in early 1980s. A native of Orange County, California, Sweet would record five chart-topping albums with the band before embarking on a solo career in 1992. He released of a pair well-received albums in 1995 and 1996, the eponymous Michael Sweet and Real, respectively, with the latter earning Sweet a Dove nomination. In 2006, after a long hiatus that saw Sweet relocate to Massachusetts, he released Him, an aptly named collection of traditional hymns. A year later, Sweet became a full-time member of Boston, with whom he would perform with until 2011. During that period Sweet continued to release solo material, including 2007's covers-heavy, classical-infused Touched, which was dedicated to his wife Kyle, who was battling stage four ovarian cancer. He also reunited with Stryper, issuing an album of all-new material, Reborn, in 2005. Sparked by the positive response from fans, the band continued to tour and record, culminating in the release of their 11th studio long-player, Fallen, in 2015. Sweet released his critically acclaimed sixth solo studio album, I'm Not Your Suicide, in 2014, followed in 2016 by One Sided War. ~ James Christopher Monger
