Editors’ Notes

Fans of Psychic Ills' 2011 set Hazed Dream might have been wondering where the band would go after 2012's strange—and bewitching—Telesthetic Tape: 40 minutes of industrial/ambient abstraction. One Track Mind steps back into the psych-rock morass, a full-on immersion in Velvet Underground–meets–Spacemen 3 atmospherics that occasionally threatens to detour into the netherworld of Psychic Ills weirdness.
