The Fifth Avenue Band

If you wondered where Paul Simon kept walking after crossing the 59th St Bridge -he headed downtown and influenced these guys to record a period piece that echoed John Sebastian and Al Kooper with a N.Y.C. vibe.Captures a space in time that moved "Good Time Music"into the early seventies.5 or 6 good songs that makes me wish they stayed around for another record and could have kept Rupert Holmes off the charts.Faithful Be Fair and Eden Rock worth the purchase.

Now...2 Holy Cross Grads Dig This Band! Trend?

This album remains as one of my best avenues to musically visit my past!
I wish everyone could have an album like this to unlock those memories of the early 70's!
A great album in countless ways!
