Bring On The Night

this is not The Police. It is a world class jam band made up of a who's who of jazz musicians, and a singer named Sting that you have never heard quite this way. You'll end up cranking the volume, moving your feet, and, like the French audience, singing with the band. I put this collection, caught direct-to-disc from the stage, in my top 10 all-time best live albums.


I've constantly gone back to this record for inspiration, not only as a drummer but just love the interpretation of Stings music by these artists, Branford, Kenny, Omar...

Still great after all this time

I wore this out on casette tape, and had forgotten about it for25 years. Now with children who love jazz we are rediscovering it together.
