Fantastic Album

When this album was(n’t) released I instantly thought it was destined to top the charts. I was very disappointed with the public’s current favorites (like Creed), and couldn’t understand how something so uninspired (again, like Creed) could be producing chart toppers, while Skycycle, much more creative with genuine song writing, talented musicians, and excellent vocals, were left in the dust. So I bought two copies of the promotional only CD pressing on eBay and settled in for the future.

Dozens of listens later, this is still one of my favorite albums from the break of the century. My unlikely favorite track is Email Girl; unlikely because it lacks pop tune mass appeal. But the production is excellent with wide open drums and great vocals.

I was excited to learn from Steve Isaacs’ website (lead singer) that this was finally released on iTunes when the rights moved to Geffen. MCA gave them the shaft back when, and the band made the album available for download from their website for a while to spite the record label. But with no promotion, and no good distribution at the time, it was destined to fall into an unknown abyss… until now.

I highly recommend this album if you like talented rock musicianship with good vocals.
