unique indeed!

cool new album. nice beats. not everything is the same (*cough unlike other albums*). what's not to love?

Rock? Not Rock? Who cares? It rocks.

Dunno if I would call it "Rock," but I bought because it grooves and growls and sounds good in the AKGs. A lot of provincial types get spooked when something gets dropped in the bin that doesn't sound like whatever classic-rock rehash or emo/screamo/dance-punk stuffing is all over the local "alternative" radio station. It's a remix record of sorts,so it's kinda all over the place, which I like. I'll look for more music from this artist.

Andrew Whiteman created the atmospheric post-rock/experimental sound of Apostle of Hustle in 2001. Whiteman returned to his native Toronto to resume writing and recording with Broken Social Scene after a two-month stay with his godmother's family in Cuba. He learned to play the tres, a Cuban guitar, during that time.
