Customer Reviews

Excellent, Just Like the Movie.

I agree with most of the other reviewers who said that this soundtrack was excellent. It was in every way a masterpiece. However, someone did comment that other than They'll Remember You and Midnight Waltz the soundtrack was sub par and had few musical moments. The movie/soundtrack is not about romantic fluff sequences or dramatic musical moments (though if you saw the movie you'd know that the music is very dramatic!), but it's about the ordinary (or -rather- extraordinary) men who risked everything to protect the people first which is translated into the simplicity of the music. I saw the movie about a week ago and the movie/soundtrack paired is quite emotionally charged. I cannot listen to the music anymore without thinking of their sacrifice and bravery. Besides, unless you care to compose your own soundtrack for Valkyrie, I suggest you stop criticizing John Ottman's work.

They'll Remember You -- Gets all 5 stars..

"They'll Remember You" is a gorgeous piece, about as beautiful as film music gets. The other track worth downloading is the beautiful period "Midnight Waltz" but otherwise there are far too few musical moments in the remainder of this disappointing score which is sub par, sophomoric and rather generic in nature.

Very good album

"They'll remember you" is breath-taking. I think it is funny how the person who commented before i did said it was anawesome movie and hasn't even seen it yet.
