God Bless Libertad Lamarque!

What a great surprise to find "La Novia De America" in the iTunes store. I am more than pleased, because Libertad is and will always be a legend. Born in 1908 she was acting by age 7, she was one of the most remembered actresses in the Spanish world of cinematography. Recorded more than 800 songs in her lifetime, and acted in 65 films; no actress in Spanish history can compare to her greatness. I must say that I am very happy and overjoyed because this music is rare. Her memory will live forever even thou her eyes closed December 2000 when she had just turned 92. I saw her last TV appearances in "Carita De Angel", a soap casted by (and for) little children. Wonderful work! :-)... Rest In Peace, Libertad.
