Great singing, great sound, great conducting. What’s not to like!

This performance is beautifully recorded, conducted and sung. This is a Rossini gem. I can’t seem to get enough of it. I am not an expert by any means, but to my ears the principals (Carreras, von Stade, Ramey) ever sounded better.
