Album Review

Star Trek: Generations was the first film to feature the cast of the New Generation, which means the soundtrack melds pieces of the television series' music with older themes from the first generations' films. The combination is exciting and well worth the time for dedicated Star Trek fans.

Dennis MaCarthy, way to go!

The music found in the movie Generations is truly one of the best created for the Star Trek movie series and this soundtrack CD also has some fun sound FX used in the movie!

Really Well Done

Dennis McCarthy really has created a masterpiece with this score. The Overture is well done, not using the Next Generation theme, but creating a powerful new introduction to a new series of films. I highly recommend this album.

Excellent, but why have to buy the whole album?

I am a total Trekkie and when I saw this I immediately thought "I HAVE to get this album!"... that was, until I saw that to get all the songs, you had to get the album too. For one song I wanted in particular (The Nexus/A Christmas Hug), I had to get the album. Ah well, it was money well wasted :D
