A Tear to Your Eye

Somewhere over the rainbow/way up high/there's a land that I heard of/ once in a lullaby/. Tell me those lyrics aren't meaningful. I mean, who woudln't want to get away to a land of colors and and smiles. This song is beautiful, and Judy sings it like no other. Don't get me wrong, Katharine McPhee on American Idol did a lovely version, too, but no one can compete with Judy Garland. Buy this song, you'll be happy you did.

Judy An American Icon!

I recently watched a special on Judy Garlands life called Judy: Me and My Shadows and had no idea how difficult Judy Garland's life actually was, she was an amazingly talented youth. Her talent only grew as she did! Her tragic death was only a reflection of how much she needed the love and attention of those around her. After seeing the movie I enjoy every opportunity to celebrate he life and talent. Thank you Judy Garland for giving the world the gift of your talent! I will always remember you! As for the music, the are no bad Judy Garland songs so if you are having second thoughts....don't, this talented artists work is a MUST for any music lover, her music lifts and inspires all!
