Perfection

I've seen Green Velvet perform many times since the early 90's all around NYC, NJ, CT & PA. He has to be one of the hardest working men in techno. I couldn't wait for some new material and here it is! These tracks have his signature hard pounding bass lines & catchy lyrics. "UFOs" also really stands out for me as just something a little more daring & cutting edge. I love "Bathroom" it's just flat out hilarious & so TRUE! Best track in my opinion? They're all wonderful but if I had to pick one it would be "War of The Saints" by far! This track makes you want to get on that dance floor and dance that ass off! This is not an album for the newbies just learning to imitate the ever tiring 'Raver Skip Dance' (A.K.A. The Nordictrack....hahah). Oh no this is for the seasoned vet that can truely appreciate the growth in Green Velvet's music, I am in awe of this album. BUY IT....NOW.

Nice!

Possibly Green Velvet's strongest LP to date. The style variations ... the LYRICS ... Don't stop the madness Green Velvet! P.S. BUY THIS LP.

Cuz of You!

I love this album, favorite songs... Cuz of You, Temptation, War on the Saints! Still doesn't touch my favorite, the self-titled Green Velvet released in 2000.

Biography

Born: April 26, 1968 in Chicago, IL

Genre: Dance

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

Green Velvet, initially created by house don Curtis Jones (aka Cajmere) as an outlet for his non-vocal productions and frequent DJ'ing gigs, grew to become even more popular than the man himself, thanks to club singles like "Preacher Man," "Answering Machine," and "The Stalker." These were infectious, undeniably fun records with simple vocal tag lines and a wonderful sense of humor. Jones, who had nurtured the Chicago house renaissance of the 1990s with his Cajual Records, gained immense success...
