Very Cool - finally.

In a sea of recycled music, I am pleasantly surprised to find a band that sticks to their guns and makes music for music's sake. Anyone remember the 90s music sweep? In case you forgot it was music for music's sake, not seeming to care about radio play -- during that time radio caught up to those 90s bands on merit, not image. So, blah, blah. I think Owl is one of those bands who have a fighting chance at finding an audience based on merit and not what reality show their single is played on. A massive cloud hangs over music today (whether you like it or not) and there seems to be some light at the end of the funnel (cloud).

Amazing ...

I haven't heard a full album this well put together in years - probably since Aenima. Every single track is strong. Yes there are obvious influence & references to AIC, et all...but once you hit the middle of "violent center" that gets quickly forgotten. And a cool Floyd-ian bookend with 'Waves' and 'Brainwaves' - what is that, on the end there? Sounds like a theremin or something

Very good edge,

Check out Pusher and One Man's Disaster. They rock.
