The new BWR effort is full of crushing, hard grooving riffs and killer melodic vocals. Slightly reminiscent of Sound Garden, Sabbath, COC and a few other classic hard bands. The songs are well written and played with monster musicianship and attitude. Thought provoking lyrics round out this great CD!

Experiment maybe?

After coming out with the finest metal album of all time, BWR sounds like they’re going in a different direction with this album. It sounds like they’re experimenting with sharps and flats and the background vocals (absent in the first album) are horrendous. All is not lost, though, as “Dance With the Devil” goes back to their roots, namely, the most kicka** metal ever! Hopefully this was just an experiment.
