Fantastic album. Get up and dance!

Bearstronaut strikes again! Dave, Nate, Paul and Phil continue to blow my mind with their ability to write some of the most intricate, yet seriously catchy hooks I've heard on the dance/synth/pop music scene. 'Paradice' takes a few strides beyond 'Satisfied Violence,' and those steps are leading to glory and good times.
To start, you'll soar with the echoing vocals and thumping drums of 'Birds of Prey.' 'Birds' lets you dive right into the party and you know you're in for a treat as soon as Phil's first drum hit lands. You'll continue the dance party drunk and in the streets of San Francisco with 'Passenger Side'(which has a great tropical feel, too). The band has written one of their catchier chorus melodies with this one, and you'll be humming the tune in your sleep(along with the fantastic guitar rhythms in the bridge). 'A Better Hand' is the shortest track on the album, but Nate and Paul's relentlessly bouncy bass and synths sync nicely with some dirty guitar and gang vocals.. Be sure to listen to this one with the woofer on high.
Next, we slow down with the intro to the title track, 'Paradice(Entrapment).' The intro builds and builds, layering synth and percussion tracks that make it nearly impossible to not get up and dance. The song transitions beautifully to heavy guitar and we also get a great taste of Dave's vocal range. 'Paradice(Entrapment)' is a killer track, and I challenge anyone to listen and not be down to boogie. To close out the album, we move to 'Painted in the Dark.' It's a bit more calm than what we're used to from Bearstronaut, but it only demonstrates that the band can write songs with a different pace and with some great emotion. Even with the slowed pace, "Painted in the Dark' is still fun and very pleasing. It's a great closer to the album and actually transitions nicely back into 'Birds of Prey,' which is great because you'll definitely want to listen to 'Paradice' again and again.

Dance party!

You won't stop dancing, as usual, with anything that Bearstronaut releases! Love, love, love their dance beats!

This EP is perfect, 5 stars! All 5 songs are similar but different in their own way. You can throw this EP on for background music, dance music, makin love music or drawing music. I highly recommend!
